Baxter finds himself alone in a very scary world. You see, Baxter is blind. Baxter has SARDS -- Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome. One day he was playing with the kids in his home with a family and the next day he is in a shelter environment.  Baxter is a great dog and friendly with other dogs. He would do best with another dog to follow around the household and get the lay of the land.
